Our story
Fern & Folklore started with a simple observation: self-care had become another thing to rush through, when it used to be something people paused for.

The Origin: Why Fern & Folklore Exists
There was always something about modern holidays that felt incomplete. They marked the changing of the seasons, yet somehow missed the beauty of the seasons themselves. While the world celebrates with decorations and traditions, nature quietly reminds us that every season has its own purpose, wisdom, and magic.
Fern & Folklore was born from a simple spring hike. Surrounded by fresh air, budding trees, birdsong, and new life, I realized I wasn’t celebrating spring because a calendar told me to. I could feel it arriving. That moment inspired me to slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore the rhythms that have guided people for generations.
Fern & Folklore is a place for anyone curious about beginner witchcraft, nature-based spirituality, seasonal living, and intentional self-care. Through the Wheel of the Year, tarot, folklore, herbalism, journaling, and simple nature-based rituals, my goal is to help you build a deeper connection with the natural world and with yourself.
When we take the time to observe the changing seasons, we often discover that they reflect our own lives. Spring encourages new beginnings, summer invites growth, autumn teaches gratitude and release, and winter reminds us to rest. By living in harmony with nature’s cycles, we can find greater peace, purpose, and presence in our everyday lives.
Whether you’re taking your first steps into witchcraft or simply searching for a slower, more intentional way of living, I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to Fern & Folklore.
What we believe: Beauty as a ritual, not a routine
We believe self-care works best when it’s tied to meaning, not just maintenance. A routine is something you do because it’s Tuesday. A ritual is something you do because it’s Imbolc, or Beltane, or the first cold morning of Samhain, and that distinction changes everything about how it feels.
That’s the philosophy behind everything we make and share: beauty and self-care practices that are anchored to the eight sabbats, so that caring for yourself becomes something you look forward to, not something you squeeze in.
Who this is for: For anyone who wants more intention
Fern & Folklore is for people who already sense that beauty and self-care can be more than product and performance, who want their practices to mean something, whether or not they identify with any particular spiritual tradition.
You don’t need to be pagan or Wiccan to find value in the Wheel of the Year. You just need to want a little more rhythm, a little more intention, in how you tend to yourself throughout the year.
